No cramps though, and maybe we were a little exuberant last night... so I'm trying not to gloom it up. I'm going to work, I'll call the Dr. office when they open. I would be surprised if they want to see me, but who knows.
Argh.

Ahem. If the exuberant is what I think it was, then yep, that's almost certainly what caused it. One of the upsides of pregnancy is that the whole vault area becomes engorged with blood. One of the down sides is that it's easy to rub too much or something, and see a bit of blood. It's actually very common - especially if your cervix is getting bumped. I was so thankful for a midwife who quite forthrightly warned me about it. You didn't do anything wrong, and it might not happen again, or it might not happen at all again.
Phone the doc, explain what you were doing, and if you are worried, as for an ultrasound of your cervix.
